EPW - Louis Berthoud a Paris, virgule fusee, 52mm, 14K multicolor gold or greater (tested) OF original case with multicolor detail at center rear and multicolor floral detail to bezel and rear perimeter, white enamel dial, KWKS, virgule escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#2335. Comes with a small 14K gold chain and tassel fob plus a gold-filled key as pictured. Gross weight of assembled watch 63.0 dwt (98.1 g). Gross weight of 14K gold chain, fob, and gold-filled key 7.4 dwt (11.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, will tick briefly with a twist but is stopping frequently, overhaul needed, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with clouding in areas, scattered fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with cluster of hls at 6, flaking around winding aperture hole; excellent hands; case shows light wear, some dings to rear perimeter, ding to edge at 6, some nicks elsewhere to edge, reduced engraving detail; bow pivots freely; domed glass crystal with some small fine scratches. Chain shows light wear, key shows medium wear with some wear to brass.
